Haunted Open House Giveaway Blog Hop!

I’m SO excited to be hosting my first Blog Hop in response to our intrinsic need to collect and hoard goodies on Halloween. From October 23rd until October 30th, ring the doorbells on all the stops listed below and sign up for their giveaways. Random selectees will be announced on October 31st - Halloween! Hosting blogs are responsible to post and notify their individual winners so revisit to see if you’ve won. I won’t be keeping track of any winners but my own – I have trouble remembering where I parked!

Having gone on their evening Haunted Ghost Tour and Haunted Cemetery Tour at St. Louis #1 in the French Quarter and tours of Lafayette Cemetery #1 and the haunted homes of the Garden District, I can attest that there’s no spookier place to be than New Orleans. One of my favorite stops was Reverend Zombie’s Voodoo Shop, home to all things reeeally creepy. It’s no wonder I based my “By Moonlight” shape-shifter series and several of my “Midnight” vampire paranormal romances in that city that never sleeps . . . for long. I’m loving seeing all my favorite places while watching American Horror Story: Coven and The Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals this season. Oh look! There’s Rev. Zombie’s! That’s the French Marketplace where I bought my Mardi Gras masks. I had crayfish gumbo and Hurricanes on that balcony! I have pictures of those easy bake ovens! I rode on a bayou airboat just like that one! Nothing like being there to appreciate the eeriness of fog ribboning in off the river at night while you’re having your Tarot read on the Square or the moonlight trickling down the narrow streets as jazz and Zydeco drifts out of shadowed doorways.

I’ve always been respectfully curious about the Woo Woo doings of the Quarter from voodoo rites to Tarot reads to ghosts who linger in alleyways by the old slave auction sites. So in honor of Halloween I’ll be giving away a gorgeous pack of Favole Tarot cards that feature vampires, fairies and all sorts of macabre yet beautiful beings, and a bottle of Voodoo Love Parfum (yes, Charlotte Caissie’s favorite fragrance!), packed by Bourbon French perfumery with its own little voodoo doll—pin included! Due to the delicacy of this offering, it’s for U.S. entries only.

After you enter my giveaway, make sure you continue on to the next generous haunt offering goodies!

Happy Halloween!!

I am so glad I found your party. I am also glad you gave me a few days to hop around. I will be wandering the halls for at least a week.

This prize is amazing.

I've also been on the Haunted Ghost Tour of New Orleans. I lived with my dad down there for awhile and utterly fell in love with the place. I can't wait to move back, after graduation.

I LOVE THIS BLOG!!! Seriously. There are so many nooks and crannies to explore. But, isn't that what a haunted house is all about? I am also gunning for those tarot cards...put my name in the hat and hopefully I am the big winner!
